The museography of Futur Present (Future present) is conceived as an open display case that rejects the idea of a container to become, a relational device.
In Barcelona, the piece unfolds as a single expanded table that structures the visitor’s journey through two surfaces in dialogue, activating a reading through reflections: the project and its reverse, the object and the idea, the outcome and its maker.
The structure is resolved through a programmatic system of minimal pillars that dissolves its constructive presence and generates a sense of extreme lightness and flotation. The projects do not rest on the surface; instead, they are elevated and arranged according to their degree of relevance. Both object supports and graphics, are magnetically fixed onto the metal surface, making visible a system that embraces change, reconfiguration, and adaptation as part of its language.
Conceived as an itinerant structure, the piece can function as a single body or be fragmented into three autonomous units. This logic of reversibility and reuse opens the door to future iterations of the device, understanding museography as an active infrastructure.
